Hebrews 4:12 NIV - “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart”.

As I sat in God's Presence today, His Spirit began to whisper to me that He is doing a work of softening and tenderizing the heart. Now is the time, the Lord says, to submit to His surgeon's knife and allow Him to cut away the things that are hindering us -- weights that are so easily keeping us from walking in His fulness. His desire is that we submit to His cleansing through the gentle washing of His Word.

The Lord says,

"Every syllable of My Word that is implanted within your heart shall not return void. It will accomplish My purposes within you. As you meditate and digest My Word, I will go deep into the hidden places of your heart and cut away anything that will prohbit you from walking in My fullness. Be slow to anger and quick to repent. In doing so, you shall be as a sponge dipped in water, ready to be squeezed out into the lives of others."
